I have always been a write-everything-down kinda gal. I have experimented with a lot of different agendas and planners (even the MAMBI Happy Planner) but I could never find one that I would like for more than three months. I just get bored of things very easily and I wanted my planner to be equally stimulative as it is productive. Honestly, it was a true STRUGGLE trying to find one that I was completely happy with. And then in February 2017, I came across the below picture on Instagram:

This was where my interest for bullet journalling started.

Coincidentally, or not, around the same time, YouTube started suggesting bullet journal videos to me. I know, CREEPY! The very first bullet journalling video I ever watched was this one by Miss Louie:

After binge-watching YouTube videos on bullet journalling and scrolling through the bullet journal hashtag on Instagram for countless hours, I was intrigued.

I remember doing soooooo much research on everything bullet journal related; from the type of notebook to the type of markers and pens. I wasn't ready to commit to the expensive Leuchtturm1917 yet because it was my first bullet journal after all, and I really didn't know how long I would stick to it. After putting a lot of thought into it, I decided to purchase the Essentials Gride-Lined Notebook. It's the only journal I have used for bullet journalling and I have repurchased it many times because I absolutely love it. I haven't ever used the Leuchtturm1917, but I won't be switching anytime soon since I actually don't find the need to.

I then went on JetPens and purchased a ridiculous amount of pens:
  • Zebra Mildliner Double-Sided Highlighter - Fine / Bold - Mild Violet
  • Zebra Mildliner Double-Sided Highlighter - Fine / Bold - Mild Green
  • Zebra Mildliner Double-Sided Highlighter - Fine / Bold - Mild Smoke Blue
  • Zebra Mildliner Double-Sided Highlighter - Fine / Bold - Mild Pink
  • Zebra Mildliner Double-Sided Highlighter - Fine / Bold - Mild Gray
  • Tombow ABT Dual Brush Pen - N75 - Cool Gray 3
  • Tombow ABT Dual Brush Pen - 192 - Asparagus
  • Tombow ABT Dual Brush Pen - 761 - Carnation
  • Tombow ABT Dual Brush Pen - 623 - Purple Sage
  • Tombow ABT Dual Brush Pen - 491 - Glacier Blue
  • Tombow ABT Dual Brush Pen - 312 - Holly Green
  • Tombow ABT Dual Brush Pen - N25 - Lamp Black
  • Tombow ABT Dual Brush Pen - 912 - Pale Cherry
  • Tombow ABT Dual Brush Pen - 992 - Sand
  • Tombow ABT Dual Brush Pen - 947 - Burnt Sienna
  • Zebra Mildliner Double-Sided Highlighter - Fine / Bold - Mild Vermilion
You don't need all these, I promise LOL. I just went a little wild.

So after purchasing all the supplies I thought I needed, it came the point of waiting. I had two days from when I would get the physical notebook (Amazon Prime ftw), and a whole week until I got my pens and markers, but I couldn't wait to get started. So, I went online and looked up a grid-lined printable, printed it out, and started bullet journalling on that.

Now I am almost two years into bullet journalling, and I can honestly say that this has been the best planning system I have ever used. I love the freedom of creativity yet still being productive. The first picture above is the first ever title page I have done in my bullet journal and still one of my favorites to date.

The best part is, I get to share my passion for bullet journalling to you guys. I have posted many bullet journalling videos on YouTube and reached out to over 700 of you guys! It's still so insane to me. Because of my little incidental stumble on bullet journalling, I have found a passion for something I never thought existed, and I absolutely LOVE it.

Two of my best friends are getting married soon and I gladly took the opportunity to make their wedding invitations. This sparked a new interest and I decided that I wanted to make a few to share with the general public.

After finishing an invitation, I was trying to figure a pretty way to showcase it. I looked up some copyright-free "fill in the blank" flat lays and came across Unsplash.

Unsplash is a website where creators share copyright-free photography. There are a lot of really amazing photos on there and best of all, they are completely free! The above picture is one by Anna Sullivan and it is just absolutely stunning.

The website states that you do not need to credit the photographers, but I am a true believer of not taking work that isn't mine. It is nice to be appreciated so of course, I credit everything that I use.

Here are a few more photos that I absolutely love:
